Craft Beer

Fully stocked up at the minute, but I’m taking a handful of cans to the match on Sunday & then camping next weekend.

Even if I bought 15 Looper, that’s £1.67 a can

I can soon rattle through them with a weekend in though, even just 2 or 3 cans a night watching the footie.

Quayside tomorrow though then obviously Sunderland on Sunday so not much in house can suppage this week.

Few pints of Vaux Hazy Citra at Whitburn watching a bit of the ol' bat and ball.

Vaux sub box. Wise Men Say & Pink Slice getting smashed in before the match on Sunday

Camping beer for next week.
Vaux box looks a good un.

Hopefully the good pubs on the Quay rather than the shit bars. Bet Ouseburn is tempting you from along the river. Enjoy.

Going through Newcastle/Gateshead Sunday and then Durham Monday. Looks a bit of a scorcher the latter (for up here). Holy GrAle will put a dent in the wallet no doubt.
Vaux Pink Slice pale on in Blues. Better than expected tbf. Canny when the weather is like this.

By the River, which seems to have changed its name, reduced the beer options and only uses plastic glasses. Shit.

Sandhill Arms, Brewdog, Red House for a pie, Head of Steam, Broad Chare, Bridge Tavern.

Ouseburn pencilled in for 3 weeks time, weather permitting.

Had a rare night off last night and blasted through a silly amount of cask before ending the night on the gueuze. Tried that Caffreys nitro stout as well, it's absolutely dog shit.

Been absolutely buckled today like, but have just opened a Sauvignon Blanc Barrel Aged blackberry saison by Rivington (bought last night when pissed). Very good.

That latter offering sounds tremendous.

Good list there for a route. Given where you were I'd have had to have dove into Crown Posada (and could swerve BD).

Went to BD to look at the menu, as wanted food at that time. Ended up going to Red House as BD was mainly pizza and we know RH pies are spot on.

Guest selection in BD was poor, so Posada would have been better, though for some reason I just can't really get away with it, never been a huge fan.
