Craft Beer

I've only really noticed it with Brewdog beers and it's the same aftertaste regardless of which of their beers you're drinking so I think it's more likely to be the water they use or something like that. Plenty of other beers use the same types of hops and don't have the aftertaste.

Then perhaps I'll be okay with the American craft beers. This is something I'll have to find out for myself.

That said, I've racked my brain and have occasionally had Shipyard APA without similar problems to the Brewdog stuff.

Life or Death IPA is a nice drink if you like American style IPA. 4 for £6 in Asda too - might have already been mentioned but couldn't be arsed to trail through all the posts.

I've been going to ASDA for their 4 for £6 offer and it's decent. Not sure if it's even classed as a craft beer but that Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is lovely.

7th or so biggest brewers in the States. Verging on ‘not craft’ despite being pioneers of the whole thing. Like Sam Adams. They’re better than Sam Adams though.

Speaking of which, just hearing that AB InBev and SAB Miller are merging

It's not the same as it used to be. Once they start to get big and industrialise the brewing process these beers start to go downhill.

My girlfriend came back from Tesco with some Trappist beer last week. It's Westmalle double which is nothing special but surprising to see it in Tesco Sunderland. She also got Delerium Tremens, Duvel and Duvel triple hop citra which is nice. And something called Veddett which I haven't got round to yet.
