Aldi occasionally have those Schwarzbrau bottles in which are very, very good beers. The spring one thats in at the moment and the dark lager they had around Christmas are excellent beers. £1.79 a bottle or thereabouts.

Not sure it anyone is interested but Beer52 this month is themed around the Mikkeller beer festival.

First box is postage only, so £6 for 8 bottles which will have mikkeller and to ol in which usually retail at £6 each. Can cancel straight after your first box too.

Brewdog in Manchester have the Cloudwater/Mikkeller collaborations on tap at the moment. Tried the DIPA Mosaic last night and it was lovely.

The Brewdog stout is ok, nowt special but not bad. Tontine was quite nice when they had it on draught in the Dun Cow, out of a bottle I wasn’t so sure. Of all the Guinness ones I’d go for the Milk Stout, though it tasted more of an oatmeal stout to me, which is probably why I liked it as the oatmeal/breakfast stout is probably my favourite as I find some of the milk stouts a little sweet.

I’d definitely recommend M&S Irish Stout mind, they often have it on the 4 for 3 or 6 for 5, and they sell it in Sunderland as well so don’t have to go too far afield.

I’m due a trip to Lou’s and may get over this weekend, hopefully they’ve got some good stuff in.
 
Anyone been here yet? Mate at work mentioned it the other day. They're going to be doing refillable growlers soon.
