COVID Side Effects

So I had COVID in 2020 when it first came out and then again in July 2022. Now, I smell cigarette smoke on a regular basis. No one in my household smokes and I’ve been able to smell it for 3 days now, it normally lasts about 2 weeks then just disappears just as fast as it appears. Does anyone else have this or any other side effects from COVID?

Could be phantosmia. Which could be the result of something benign like an allergy or infection or something more serious.

Aye, could be having seizures/mini strokes.

I’d probably just wait and see what Dr SMB says though rather than seek actual medical advice.
Surely we'll just eventually come to the sensible conclusion of Nose AIDS.

I work with 2 people who have a very similar thing. With one it's burning/burning rubber with the other it's burning/cigarette smoke.

I feel I’m fortunate that I lost my smell for a fortnight when I had it.

If anything I smell better than I did pre-Covid now. Like it kicked something into gear.
