If anyone really wanted to smash a garden up do you think a shitty fence and a couple of stewards would stop them? Would they fuck man. The fact that nothing happened to the garden has more to do with our fans not being scum (something you lot would know nothing about) than some shitty 'measures' put in place. Talk of damaging the Jimmy Hill statue, defacing the hall of fame walls and to “smash up” the memorial garden. I find the last one hard to believe but it has been threatened apparently.
Some of the Cov lads on there are talking of defending the above mentioned.
I take it this game will be a highly policed match? Upto 6000 Sunderland fans heading to the game, so could be tasty."

Why call it the Jimmy Hill Memorial Garden? I could understand CCFC Memorial Garden or Sky Blues Memorial Garden but the Jimmy Hill Memorial Garden. Jesus Christ, they're elevating him to the level of a f***ing saint.

The Jimmy Hill Memorial Garden is an extension of the current memorial garden, and will boast a granite sculpture where fans can go to pay their respects and scatter ashes of family members.
