They'll never get EFL approval to play there. It makes Wimbledon's ground look like Wembley.

It's a complex issue. The current ground capacity is 4000 but with temporary stands erected that can be increased to about 7500 but there would be a lot of work that needed doing before August. The council would need to give planning permission and Rugby Club doesn't like or fancy SISU. It could be the best offer on the table if they could bring it off.

2000 at Northampton is better. 2nd best to them being expelled which is my number 1 choice.

Nothing wrong with the SISU owners, would buy them a drink if I met them.

Do all the scores from their games get cancelled too???

No, if the vote goes the right way they will just get kicked out at the end of the season.

Pathetic attitude from both Coventry City and SISU.
The club never owned the Ricoh, they were always tenants.
Because the SISU didn't pump money into the club, it slid down the leagues resulting in lower attendances and financial losses to the stadium owners.
The stadium owners decide to sell the lease to a well supported rugby club for £21 million and suddenly SISU get their knickers in a twist because they were not offered that deal.
SISU decided to sue the former owners and Wasps and have lost every time in court.
They had the chance of extended their tenancy on the condition they withdraw their court action.
SISU didn't and are left with big legal bills and the football club is homeless hopefully will be kicked out the league.
Shame.

Sunderland fans threatened to destroy coventry city's memorial garden, where hundreds of Coventry fans ashes lay. And you wonder why coventry fans were angry. You turn up to a home game & go to visit your loved ones resting place, as you have done for every home game since they passed. Only to find its been fenced off with 10 security guards standing there because of threats by Sunderland fans. Now we get over the top reports of bags full of shit being thrown by cov fans, absolute BS. You should go on twitter where Sunderland fans are saying it was all over hyped. From fans who were sitting in lower tier saying it wasn't that bad. And if you'd have won the match nothing would have been said. So grow up & stop inciting trouble.

Police investigate disorder at Sunderland v Coventry City game

"That turned out not to be the case, with Sunderland fans in the lower tier of the North Stand being subjected to projectiles thrown from the upper tier, where away fans were housed. Several Sunderland fans were either injured by the projectiles or had property damaged by smoke bombs thrown from above."

Was your Garden trashed?

Was hundreds of objects thrown at indiscriminately at families from a height?

Are you a cheating non descript club?

Your club and supporters are rotten to the core and hopefully you will go out of business soon.

This appears to be the preferred option.

I can guarantee no Sunderland fans would smash up any memorial garden - not a chance
Shame about your moronic support throwing bottles & objects on to anyone that was sitting below inc kids & elderly
I’m embarrassed for you

An old name for the club.

I'm not sure many people up here would have known the function of the Memorial Garden and probably thought it was just a park area dedicated to Jimmy Hill. It's certainly a rare thing. What is it called exactly? I doubt if the ten security guards had anything to do that day.

No Sunderland fan would have smashed up any memorial garden. Did any turn-up to do so, only to find it had been fenced-off?

Which set of fans waited outside of the away turnstiles with rocks and bottles to throw at anyone coming out at The Ricoh? Which set of fans started bother with normal supporters (mostly old fellas) in football shirts in The Wheatsheaf? Which set of fans had a go at families and bairns coming out the North Stand on Saturday?
Which fans went looking for it (and found it before running away) at a certain boozer the opposite direction to where their caoches were?

Inciting trouble you say?
