Coventry, Ipswich and Hull

I started disliking you lot when you threw flares, coins, vapes, glass bottles, bag of shit at our fans from the away end. Also that time your lot burst into a pub full of families and scarfers looking for a fight. Funnily enough tho your lot still ended up getting knacked.

Fair enough about the first bit but the second part is wrong.

I was in the Wheatsheaf that day and it was all fine until Sunderland fans got angry about a Coventry fan dancing on a pool table. No one went in attacking anyone.
Are you concerned about that or are you happy to accept the likely consequences if it allows you to make a stronger go of it in a few years?

I'm not concerned at all. Even if we finish bottom with a single point, we are in the strongest position we've been as a club in a generation. Owning the stadium and being in a relatively strong financial position is the priority as it stands. A day will come when we can fully go for it but I'm not sure that's now.

I would be surprised if we even spend ยฃ40m.
Sounds like that 40 million includes current players wage rises and future signings wages. I can see fat Frank walking if another prem club went in for him, if his hands are gonna be tied. Long term it keeps you stable if you pocket the cash but you will be struggling badly without some good signings. If I were Frank and only had that I would be going for a couple of old experienced players the likes of Welbeck, Barkley, type players (Not meaning them in particular) and Frank has to use his Chelsea contacts to try to get some loan lads in from Chelsea or Everton to beef up your squad.

3 beige clubs. Like Southampton, Norwich and Burnley.

I fully expect them all to go down without much fight.

Would've preferred the likes of Millwall and Bristol City, or even Derby. Just for a bit of variation if anything.

He would be a fool to walk let's be honest.

If he went in at Palace or Fulham, the pressure would be through the roof and the media would be on him from day one.

A day may also come where you have a West Midlands rival. FYI, it's definitely not us. Whatever Cov fans may think.

Remarkable how much you hate us! Understandable considering you probably weren't alive in 1985 when Sunderland last did the double over Coventry ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Just think your fanbase are arseholes, donโ€™t deserve a club.
