Coventry, Ipswich and Hull

We’re all fighting for every point… I’ll still be happy if and when we reach that 40 point mark next season. It’s a brutal league

How many players do you think will likely make the step up, and how many players/areas do you feel you need to strengthen?

If you do “only” have £40-50m to spend and £20m of it is being used on the keeper you already had last season, what do you feel about your chances?

And for the record I’m not writing you off. You might recruit incredibly well, maybe you do have a load that will surprise and step up. Maybe Lampard IS an absolute genius and you’ll keep smashing in 30 yarders too. But I’m not having that your lot aren’t showing a lot of confidence on here

I’ve posted out of the 3 to come up I unfortunately think Coventry are better suited suited to survival

Long as it’s not at our expense

They do have saleable assets, but are the least likely to reinvest it well.

I expect Leeds to struggle next season. I think they'll have a second season syndrome and sack Farke.

More hyperbole. How could you possibly know that he’ll be the best player in the championship in 14 months time (if you go down)

Not an “excellent keeper”. It has to be THE BEST

The players who I expect to make the step up are Milan Van Ewijk, Ephron Mason-Clark, Onyeka and Rushworth.

There's a decent chunk of players who might. It could go either way with them. We will have to recruit very well to stay up.

There's one Cov fan on here who's super confident, the rest like me are level-headed. Everyone I speak with expects us to struggle but is looking forward to some good days out.

He was comfortably our best player and one of if not the best player in the division.

I don't think it's so bonkers to say Rushworth would be the best player in the Championship if we got relegated! 😅

In 14 months time? You have NO idea who’s going to be there man

Just say he’s an excellent keeper if you must, but why does everyone have to be “the best” etc with you lot

Like the mags of the midlands ;)
