I must admit i haven't actually caught this lad batting on any stream but he is a bit of a run machine. The number of counties that have keepers who are performing as effective front line batsmen is fantastic. If only some could bowl a bit of spin as well.

Saw him once, I'd say Smith from Surrey has more gears at this stage.

I honestly wouldnt be surprised to see Smith in the India squad, ahead of his county colleague, although I will move on quickly as that will cause a riot!
