An emailer to Brace during the current Durham game was asking if Notts would be signing Wayne Madsen.

Brace also remarked they’ve already signed Olly Stone.

This situation of Notts signing ridiculous numbers of players is really annoying, but I really don’t see why they’d need to sign Madsen…?

I get with Stone he’s express pace, even though their bowling attack is already top drawer.

Anyway, just rambling on and thinking aloud (or whatever you call putting it into type is).
 
Warwickshire have 72 overs to bowl out Hampshire and secure their Division One status. Or... Hampshire have 72 overs to score 139 to win. It's a required rate of 1.93 an over. (Pitch looks fine. Warwickshire in deep trouble.)

Deal done a while ago. To be fair to Notts (which is difficult) Warwickshire only offered him a new deal on greatly reduced terms due to his injury record.
