Council receives £800,000 grant to convert Seaburn shelter into Cafe and Restaurant Space

I think it’s great news ! The money is from a central government/ national lottery fund as far as I can tell so WDSC for the successful application for the funds.
I walk down the sea front quite a bit and it really is lovely down there and you would be surprised at the amount of people around even during the week and just how popular the existing cafes are .
Honestly some of those comments on FB !

That’s coming to South Shields after the local hospital review and merger.
Anyway, just keep on copying South Shields seafront and you can’t go wrong.
