As a club we're so soft and amateurish, the ownership group can't even do unscrupulous properly. If the plan was to keep the shares quiet, get promotion and sell the club outright to KLD/a new party, fine, not particularly happy about it, but certainly don't pick now as the time to release this info. They couldn't have picked a worse time ffs.

It's just been panic, panic, panic for a few weeks now. I actually can't believe how weak and soft we are. It's so disappointing.

Maybe if SAFC fans as a collective weren’t so blind in their support of a constantly failing football club we might not even be in the third tier as even prior to the current shower we tolerated the clueless (in a footballing sense) absentee landlord that was Ellis Short and third rate shysters like Byrne, Bain, Moyes etc who are the reason we fell from comparative grace so quickly.

We have too many supporters who are averse to constructive criticism and fellow fans who question club issues like this current shareholding debate and come out with crap like “it’s Mag-esque behaviour” or “you can’t be a true fan” and other such nonsensical drivel (just look at our post war playing record and the number of relegations and failed opportunities).

It seems the time has come for us all to tell the current owners that the piss taking party that we were told had stopped by the worlds most ironic PR guru really does need to be extinguished or this famous old club will go lower yet. Half a decade looming in league one as it is!

KLD you need to outline your long term vision and commitment to SAFC please.

What I never understand with fans of any privately owned club, is why they feel they are entitled to information about the inner workings of the club. Like your ticket money, shirt money and beer/pie money gives you access to confidential information. Anytime a private club gives information about its inner workings, remember it is a courtesy and stop acting like its an entitlement.

None of you on here, know about the contract that was signed between the owners of the club. There are a lot of you though happy to bitch and moan about it though.

There has always been an easy way to have a say in how your football club is run, pony up the cash to buy it or put together a consortium to do the same.

1) 41% is not a majority
2) a football club is not a normal business. If you think it’s like giving your custom to Asda rather than Sainsburys, then I assume you’ll be off to support the Mags?
 
Imo Charlie will be back in the media again trying to spin the line that we’ve hounded out every owner we’ve ever had . Now is the time for a PR spin.

But if at any time the other 3 can out vote him on anything - are you in control of anything?

What's you view on why they have come clean now, KLD advisors telling him to risk greater reputational damage to himself and the family name when the facts finally emerge which they of course would have eventually.?

That wording about Governance Majority told me all I needed to know, I had already been told by a number of reliable sources about the 41%. Been shot down on here along with others on here for raising this, glad to see the truth is out,
 
It's a sickener this like. So much for the bright new horizon. Still the same leeches suckling the teet of SAFC. The fans have been massively misled here.

The continued involvement of the old ownership group makes the current shambolic running of the club more obvious.
 
And there you go, the reason the club has done everything in its power to keep financial info out of the public for the last 12 months.
