And the Dell takeover negotiations that they claimed never happened…We've been lied to, again. First the parachute payments and again here. I utterly despise the fuckers.
How do you know?
Maybe if SAFC fans as a collective weren’t so blind in their support of a constantly failing football club we might not even be in the third tier as even prior to the current shower we tolerated the clueless (in a footballing sense) absentee landlord that was Ellis Short and third rate shysters like Byrne, Bain, Moyes etc who are the reason we fell from comparative grace so quickly. If they hadn't have pursued Keane, this would have never happened. Giddily and publicly courting the bloke for a week, turning the whole thing into a saga and then being knocked back put press attention right back on the club at the exact time it was going through a particularly embarrassing phase.
As a club we're so soft and amateurish, the ownership group can't even do unscrupulous properly. If the plan was to keep the shares quiet, get promotion and sell the club outright to KLD/a new party, fine, not particularly happy about it, but certainly don't pick now as the time to release this info. They couldn't have picked a worse time ffs.
It's just been panic, panic, panic for a few weeks now. I actually can't believe how weak and soft we are. It's so disappointing.
What I never understand with fans of any privately owned club, is why they feel they are entitled to information about the inner workings of the club
It'll be Juan Sartori which will literally be a token gesture. If this unrest gains traction I can see one or more of the shareholders selling up to quell it. Not sure who yet.
1) 41% is not a majorityAll fans have discovered today is that KLD is the majority shareholder (which we already knew). The only difference is we now know what the percentages owed by each owner is. KLD still has control of the board and it's votes and so still controls the club.
What I never understand with fans of any privately owned club, is why they feel they are entitled to information about the inner workings of the club. Like your ticket money, shirt money and beer/pie money gives you access to confidential information. Anytime a private club gives information about its inner workings, remember it is a courtesy and stop acting like its an entitlement.
None of you on here, know about the contract that was signed between the owners of the club. There are a lot of you though happy to bitch and moan about it though.
There has always been an easy way to have a say in how your football club is run, pony up the cash to buy it or put together a consortium to do the same.
I am so done with the ownership arguments on here like.
This is true, but you would only buy 41% if other agreements aren’t in place further down the road?Because thats all Madrox would sell him
But if at any time the other 3 can out vote him on anything - are you in control of anything? All fans have discovered today is that KLD is the majority shareholder (which we already knew). What's you view on why they have come clean now, KLD advisors telling him to risk greater reputational damage to himself and the family name when the facts finally emerge which they of course would have eventually.?They've misled by not being open about the nature of the controlling interest, and the wording around it. I reached the conclusion pretty much anyone would make. I really didn't see this arrangement at all.
Aye, dead easy. Sorry mate, but what a load of shite. There has always been an easy way to have a say in how your football club is run, pony up the cash to buy it or put together a consortium to do the same
