I was relieved of my shares by the Murphia, I’ve never forgiven themWho remembers when Niall Quinn was relieving the fans of our SAFC shares and his reasoning was it would only work for the new owners if they had 100% ?

I wish you’d get rid of that fcking avatar, dm.
Jesus, some one tell him ffsAll fans have discovered today is that KLD is the majority shareholder (which we already knew). The only difference is we now know what the percentages owed by each owner is. KLD still has control of the board and it's votes and so still controls the club.
What I never understand with fans of any privately owned club, is why they feel they are entitled to information about the inner workings of the club. Like your ticket money, shirt money and beer/pie money gives you access to confidential information. Anytime a private club gives information about its inner workings, remember it is a courtesy and stop acting like its an entitlement.
None of you on here, know about the contract that was signed between the owners of the club. There are a lot of you though happy to bitch and moan about it though.
There has always been an easy way to have a say in how your football club is run, pony up the cash to buy it or put together a consortium to do the same.
I am so done with the ownership arguments on here like.
Yet also the opportunity for them to do so again if they so wish..Are they? They may once have been, but there are good grounds to think that's not the case.
Whats your best guess as to what the hell is going on ?
The suggestion that sartori has the only non voting shares makes sense to me mind. If we said a percentage was a share then that means there's 80 voting shares and kld has 41 of them. Its the only way the 41% makes sense that I can see. They've misled by not being open about the nature of the controlling interest, and the wording around it. I reached the conclusion pretty much anyone would make. I really didn't see this arrangement at all.
And the Dell takeover negotiations that they claimed never happened…
This. We are arguing amongst ourselves instead of directing that at the owners.Thread needn’t get unnecessarily heated.
It’s time to accept that everyone wants what is best for the club but people have their own perceptions on that.
I’d like to think that the vast majority can see that we’ve been misled now though and should back, at the very least, demands for transparency, clarity and basic decent honesty. If that isn’t provided I’d like think we can all come together and create change.
Are you Reiver in disguise?![]()
1) 41% is not a majority
2) a football club is not a normal business. If you think it’s like giving your custom to Asda rather than Sainsburys, then I assume you’ll be off to support the Mags?
Why would KLD only buy 41% of the club? That makes no sense.
