I thought it was better than the Checkatrade and far from shite. Then again, I don’t go expecting singing for 90 minutes because that just doesn’t happen I’m afraid.

This is very true. On and around the 80th minute we pressed forward for a short while and the noise was deafening. The manager is responsible for killing atmosphere at games...he has been all season.
 
For what it's worth the two 13/15 point seasons(what ever they were plus the last two relegations seem to have taken the heart out of our fans.
It's completely understandable, no body really expects anything positive anymore , there is just an air of resignation.

Manager led. He's dour, the team don't attack (1 attempt at goal) and the fans respond. We fall asleep because we've enjoyed ourselves the night before knowing what's coming the day after.

Better than checkatrade agree, still think it was poor for a final mind and we were half asleep for large spells.

This. Under Keane was probably the only time you thought Christ anything’s possible here. It would take someone with that magnetism and force of personality to change it I think. Certainly Ross doesn’t seem to have it or scream ‘winner’ to me
 
The fans are! SAFC ffs! 35000 didn't go today just to sit in silence, they went to support!! If there was fuck all to support who can blame them for their lack of vocality! which is a pretty stupid thing to accuse a fanbase of if you can remember the noise after Defoe's goal against the mags!! 6 hours sleep in 72 hours, the alcohol was the only thing keeping me going today.
oh and dodging the spew from the lad behind.
 
Lower half of 120 here. Quiet at times but not for the want of trying from a couple of us.

If you looked around though, many an old man, young kid, young couples etc etc. Not sure how we compare to other teams in terms of an age profile but might it not just be the case that we no longer have those die hard fans who will shout and sing at everything?

Are we more a family club than most?
