Just had a drink in a Charlton pub next to Wembley. The Charlton fans were saying how noisy we were and what great fans we are.
 

Thought we were fairly good today noise wise, at least compared to the trophy final.

That being said, there’s a worrying amount of fans who were going into Wembley barely able to stand up / string two words together. It’s definitely more about the drink than the game for some.

More worryingly there was a bloke of maybe 35 who was charging his way through the queue for the train back to Marylebone with his little lad; the bloke was arseholed as it was and every time the lad said anything the response was “I don’t care, I’m going to get mortal”. Feel incredibly sorry for that child.

You’ll be called a miserable kernt but the trafalgar thing is just cringey as fuck. The first one in 2014 was impromptu and it was great but that fact it’s becoming a thing and the media go on about ‘taking trafalgar’ is a joke. People used to go on in the past about how loud we sang at Wembley, 85 for example, at least there’s some pride in that, now we’re slumped in our seats absolutely pallatic whilst the other lot outsing us

Lad behind me threw up and fell asleep second half. His mates were no better all smashed and couldn’t string a sentence together. I went to trafalgar last night, had a few beers and enjoyed relaxing on the steps watching the crowd and was back in the hotel for 11.

What’s the point of paying all that money to come down and support them when all you’re wanting to do is hoy as much drink down ya as possible, might aswell stay back home and watch it in town.

I often disagree with you on football matters but you've nailed this one, couldn't agree more. The fans are utterly depressed and worn down by the crap Ross serves up, nobody expected us to win

98 we went to TS.
It's good to party the night before. Only fun we had all weekend.
And its not pisssd blokes being quiet, it's rows of gimps who look like theyve never had a, drink, sitting there not knowing the words even if they wanted to join in
