Aye that's the one.
See I would have known that if it was plastered on the side of the stadium

We must have had points deducted... like Man CityThat 6th one though, we don't talk about?

We certainly received a punishment back in the 50's that was a good deal harsher than owt Citee will.We must have had points deducted... like Man City.
Could put it next to Jill Scott'sDearest @Becs can you please, please, please ask them about a statue for the club's top goal scorer and local lad Bobby Gurney.
It's utterly shameful how the club AND the local council too have appeared to have completely forgotten about him, his legacy at the club and the fact he still remains a club record holder decades after his final game for Sunderland. Everton have one, Bolton have one, Boro too and the mags have two ffs! Even though Milburn scored more goals.
The Legends Way thing is commendable but heavily weighted to players in our recent past while almost completely ignoring the clubs history and past achievements prior to 73.
As has been mentioned by others it's not representative enough of the club's historical icons and should have been a great promenade highlighting how important Sunderland was from it's beginnings right up to today as you move towards the stadium. Most people on the final list, while maybe more well known to modern era fans, barely warrant a page in the club's history books compared to some of the REAL legends who were missed.
I didn't know she was a top goal scorer?Could put it next to Jill Scott's
It's a joke mate because she is one of the "legends" they're acknowledging on the new legends way.I didn't know she was a top goal scorer?
Ahh, wasn't sure if she was top woman's goal scorer. It's a joke mate because she is one of the "legends" they're acknowledging on the new legends way.
Yeah but she played 40 games for Sunderland women, over 2 season.Ahh, wasn't sure if she was top woman's goal scorer.
I'm not adverse to honouring important more modern figures or those from the women's game but not while ignoring record holders etc.
Her time with Sunderland was hardly her most successful period of her career anyway.

Pretty sure she is Manchester basedTo play devil's advocate, maybe it's what she's done for the women's game as a whole ? Didn't she win a lot with England and win that celebrity jungle thing ?
She's probably one of the most famous people currently knocking about from Sunderland
Devil-ing back, should we then include Jordan Pickford, England's most successful GK and MLF?To play devil's advocate, maybe it's what she's done for the women's game as a whole ? Didn't she win a lot with England and win that celebrity jungle thing ?

Or Charlotte Crosby? She's been on the telly abit.
Unlike Gurney who only managed 228 goals in 388 appearances, stretched over two decades of service to the club.Yeah but she played 40 games for Sunderland women, over 2 season.![]()
Can you please ask which genius thought it was a good idea to withdraw the use of the executive box for next season from the Bradley Lowery Foundation even after they offered to pay for it?

The only home games this season you needed purchase history from 24/25 were Mags and Leeds. Liverpool was originally then it changed to purchase history in the season. All of my purchase history and points were deleted last year. I’m an exile, no longer go each week as a job change has me working Saturday mornings a lot, but I used to get to a few home and away games a season when I could, I’ve been going to games for years. Now I’m effectively locked out.
When I asked why my points were deleted I was told “We moved systems back in June only purchase history from last year was converted over.” and when I questioned this further I was ignored.
I’m not expecting or even want to get tickets ahead of others that go regularly, but I don’t want to be blindly ignored when tickets are seemingly available and I want to buy one. The club don’t seem to care that they’ve locked out someone that’s been a fairly regular attendee since the early 80s
Which absolute clownshoe came up with the idea of IDing away fans and banning them for passing tickets on, when there’s no other way to ‘legally’ get rid of your ticket? Do they expect us to lose out on any game we can’t attend anymore?
So if you buy a ticket and something pops up so you can’t attend anymore you have to lose out on the money you paid? Fair enough stopping people from building up points but that’s not the case for everyone. It’s expected that you won’t buy a ticket to pick up the points and allow another fan to attend - clearly
