Dunno what it was about Henderson that a section of our fanbase was blind to. Look back at highlights from those seasons and he’s involved in nearly everything. Wasn’t the player he became at Liverpool by a long shot, but he clearly had the bigger ceiling.

Suspect some of the comments earlier in the thread were bitter cos he left.

To be fair a lot of people who watched that youth team thought that Luscombe had the most natural talent of that crop. Clearly had no dedication whatsoever though.
