Coffee shops in Sunderland

Bastards. I was in there the other week, coffee nice and the Pastel de Nata was really something else, possibly the best I've had, I think it was with caramel or toffee, unreal.
 

Without doubt one of the very best people I've ever had the privilege of meeting. I didn't get in as often as I would have liked, but whenever I did, he was always there smiling, making people feel good about themselves.

Absolutely heartbreaking and I hope the community rally round his wife and friends.

Went there on Monday lunchtime before returning down here & was shocked to see the carpark next to it closed, and getting dug up (or something). Wasn't easy to find somewhere else to park close by, but I persevered and enjoyed a much needed coffee & a bite to eat. I hope that the parking isssue doesn't impact too much on their footfall, it was canny busy when I was there, mind. The staff there are great.

Haven’t been in for months. The Turkish eggs are canny.
 
I’ve just seen this. Absolutely gutting. The first time we went he asked the Bairn if he enjoyed his food but he said he didn’t like some of the salad stuff.

He sat and said how he never liked spinach but after he tried it he loved it and that’s why he was so big and strong.

Kid’s loved greens ever since.

You never know how much of an impact someone can have. Even just a 3 minute interaction.

He mentions mental illness so I thought it must have been suicide. There was a post on shop 3 days ago as normal. The video is a bit strange without explanation. Real shame tho.
