Clarkson’s farm

30 minutes into the new serie and struggling, the new lass from the ‘agency’ clearly interviewed and recruited for ob reasons. She is so conscious of the camera it’s distracting me. Clarkson spending 10 mins of first episode apparently not knowing how to drive his lambo for laughs was trying way to hard.

This worth sticking with? Loved the first 2 series.

Harriet was obviously carefully casted. The producers know what they are doing and will be wanting to attract younger viewers not so interest in a middle aged Clarkson cocking about in tractors.

Anyone watched the last 2 episodes yet? Clarkson has been raving about how good they are but not had chance to watch them yet

Yeah. Brutally stressful but can kind of see why the top gear incident happened. Despite the clowning and buffoonery he doesnt seem the easiest of tempered blokes
It’s funny I had the exact same thought while watching some of those scenes. I thought he did well initially with almost being jokingly annoyed with Kaleb while making jokes but that pub opening weekend he looked ready to punch someone.

Was still the best episode of this series.

I’ve ran a few restaurants in my time. No matter how well prepared you think you are the first few days are awful. Even experienced staff can struggle with new kitchens/layouts/menus. So throw in equipment failures and crowds like they got, I’m not surprised that tempers got frayed.
I would never go to a new place in the first few weeks, always give them time to bed in and get the place running properly.

Believe me at that time of year when the pressures on i could quite of happily chucked a mash hammer through the combine windscreen so i know how he feels but id have to pay to repair it.
The pressures on family farmers are extreme, i knock about with a group of lads that iv knocked about with for years, theres 4 famers 1 cheif fireman, 1 miner, 1 agri sales rep 1 taxi driver. The farm lads me included look haggard as fuck and stressed, the others not so much but they all great lads.
