Cirkin goodbye message

If it meant that much then presumably he'd have signed a new contract.
You cynic. He knows he is down pecking order and he lost his dad- probs wants to go home. Hope he sticks at it - looks like a backpacker in Thailand now like.
this one hurts a bit one of the first players to take a real gamble on us done for us at times was outstanding would have been able to keeo him as he was a great back up to reinildio
One of the first examples of KLD strategy luring players to us who wouldn't have joined anyone else in the league

Sad to see Cirkin go. If he hadn’t have had his injury issues he’d have played a much bigger part imo. Wish him well wherever he ends up. He was a big part of our journey back to the top league.

It’s good to see how close knit the group seem to be though. Many well wishers and touching messages from players and fans whenever a player leaves or their loan comes to an end etc. A far cry from a few years back when we were glad to see the back of most of them.

Such a good signing for us. We should never forget the contribution of these young lads who got us out of that f***ing horrible league 1. They put some heart and some balls back in the club. Brave as a lion, was Dennis.

Maybe injuries just held him back a bit, but there shouldn’t be a bad word said about him.

Seems a quiet, thoughtful lad.
💯

The first game I took my grand kids to was the Cov game when he scored that screamer and they had a Birds Eye view.
Something they will remember for the rest of their lives.
I’m a bit thick and don’t understand why he’s leaving. Is it because he wasn’t offered enough dosh ? Is it because he’s been told he’s surplus ? Is it because he wants to head back south ? Is it cos he wants regular football ?
Could he not have stayed and fought his way into regular football here ?
Anyway, we’ve lost a very good player and I wish him all the best. Sorry to see him go.

I doubt it'll even come out fully, but likely be a combination of all of those to varying degrees.

RLB obviously trusts him enough to give him some game time this season, but clearly not enough to start him ahead of Reinildo (or even Hume at LB at times), so I doubt we were gonna offer him a huge Premier league contract to stay (not sure if we even offered him anything tbh, I imagine we will have but very much a squad player level and nothing more), and equally he probably thought he's at a point in his career where he really wants to be playing regularly, and so I imagine both parties were happy to go their separate ways in the end.
