Cirkin goodbye message

Could be completely wrong. But he could be playing European football for a club that means so much to him. Just seems odd. If it's that special then why wouldn't you want to be part of it?
Jesus!!!
You have stated time again ,that you have no knowledge of the negotiations between him and the club . Yet you still keep denigrating him for not staying.
Suggesting that his message was not sincere.
Makes you a bit of an arsehole, don't you think??

Bit unfair there Keith . Apparently he has either just had or is due to have surgery to take the rods and pins out . So must have been pretty bad . Didn't he also have other problems including hamstrings ? Bit of a sicknote poor lad.
Good luck to him would have been a decent squad player , except for his fitness issues
Time to move on .
He had an op a couple of years ago to sort his hamstring. Looks like it worked.

It's a brief career that can be cut brutally short at any moment, lads need to make hay. Both Cirkin and Neil are leaving for what will likely be much better deals than Safc could/would offer them.

I always thought it was very odd.

I'd walk over broken glass to play. A wrist / arm / hand injury could be strapped up / lightweight cast fitted or whatever to get you on the pitch. If I injured it again so what, it's not a career threatening injury as I don't play in goal.
Yes I thought he was a softy too.

I was talking to a doctor of a championship club, he was saying they do extensive psychology tests on players to determine what type of personality traits they have because some players would lie to physio and say they were fine when they weren't, while others would lie and say their injuries were worse than they actually were.

They also used various pain threshold tests (Pressure Algometry, Cold Pressor) to determine how accurate a player's self reporting might be to get a better understanding if they should be playing or not.

Surely will have a few offers to consider. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at West Ham as they might sell Diouf. At his best Cirkin is a good player so hope he gets his full fitness back.

And if you fall on it or come down off a header ??? You end up on the deck laid donating football and your always using your hands to break the fall it absolutely knacks even if you have a sprained wrist the lad had metal plates in not allowed to play in cast

As I say I wouldn't be bothered if I took another injury to the same arm. I would just want to play regardless and take my chances. Maybe that's just me?

Don't know what he has been offered, but I will be sad to see him leave.
I know he has had injuries, and there is talk of his attitude, but he is a very, very good player when he is on it.

I trust RLB, and I know he puts a lot of faith in a players attitude and character, so it is probably the right move, and it also shows how far we have come when we can let a player of his qualty walk away.

Good luck to him. I really liked him, but we move on.
