Far too many posts about are best players
" moving on " Clarke, Ballard, Neil, Jobe and now Rigg. Yet, no one has been sold. Today was imo a turning point and the youngsters graduated.
Amazing how he has developed such insight into how the adult game is played when he has only played against kids until recently. You'd think he had been playing for years. Really intelligent player
and all English . Odds on the three to play internationally together in about 3 years ? . A whole Sunderland midfield , what a time that would be to be aliveAverage age of 19 for our midfield 3 today!! All 3 were magnificent with Rigg being the pick of them for me. Have to mention Jobe played more forward passes than I saw the whole of last season, he seems to be taking more chances with his passing now which is good to see.

dunno like , might not still be with us but each might get a capShould be enormous and I think you’d be chucking money away

if Rigg and Bellingham dont end up capped theres something gone seriously amissI think it’s early days to predict any of them pick up a cap. But the chances of them all playing together at the same time? With Rice, Mainoo, Wharton, Bellingham Snr knocking about? And any others coming through?

I’ll post it again, get your money on him being a future Ballon d’or winner![]()
He's never going there mate...The mags will be fuming, the lad is superb
It's cliché, but when watching him it always seems like his first instinct is to do something positive, and his reaction time today seemed lightning fast. No concerns about whether his head is screwed on right - he's playing with bags of confidence and far beyond his yearsSome people are just born, natural footballers. You can build on it through coaching, but you can’t coach the instinct or the latent ability itself.
He’s got it in spades. He will play at the very top of the game, if his head is screwed on right.
