Reet, ordered a pickup from the Star for Friday. It had better be f***ing worth it.

Was worth it. Meat just dropped off the ribs, crispy noodles were on point (it's sometime the little things that matter) and the weeping tiger was belter. Other dishes were very good as well. Worth the £36 and the drive......

Me duck pancakes were class.

The Star of Siam? Crying Tiger's my fave main up there. It's even better when ya get it git rare on the hotplate in the restaurant.

Had a takeaway from the Star last week. We thought the starters were excellent (especially the dips that came with them), the mains we had were good but the Pad Thai was a bit underwhelming and not a patch on Zen.

Still a top notch selection of bait - 8.1/10 from us.
