Chilblains

I used to get them from sticking my feet up the radiators straight from outside

Learned a painful lesson several times, now gradual warming and fluffy socks

Same with people who have trouble with their adenoids.

I reckon both chilblains and adenoids were caused by white dog shit or polyester slacks.

That's a blast from the past.

I still haven't met anyone though, for all I know everyone on here purporting to suffer from them could be full of shite or stuck in the 70's mother's continuing to pedal their tales of imaginary radged ailments.

The chilblain continues to be myth and legend as far as I'm concerned...

Been replaced by raynaud's

I have Reynauds. Even when it's not that cold the tips of a few fingers will go totally numb. There was once when they were so numb I couldn't work the key into the front door! The pain when I finally got into the warm house was incredible.
