Is the Garden Farm still in existence? I remember when they had a disco in there and it was packed weekends.
CLS has never been a place I would drink in on a regular basis. Was in the spoons earlier this month for an afternoon drink. Met up with a few mates and I really enjoyed it. The Wicket is a better than average pub with decent beer. I had a lift home arranged so had to leave before the pub crawl down the bank started. But CLS seems a pretty good place for a piss up.

You’re not wrong it was whispers in the 80’s and early 90’s as I remember , went in for a function not long back it hasn’t changed inside much - awful

Thursday nights at the Grden Farm was the main night back in the late 80's, people used to come from all over and always heaving. Had my wedding night-time do there back in 1990 and its hardly changed since.

I had my 21st in there. If my maths is correct that would have been 1994.
Used to play in a band at The Carousel Club ( late 60’s ) on Monday Nights .

Aye Monday nights were the 'heavy' nights. I used to drink in there on Thursday and Sunday nights in the early 80's for the 'disco's' and a regular in the bar various nights over the years from late 70's until late 80's.

We used to ask the DJ to play Let’s Go Crazy for Andy’s birthday. The DJ never twigged that somebody couldn’t hVe a birthday every week.
We often went in on Mondays.
