Chelsea v Spurs

What's the best result for us?
Spurs win leaves Chelsea with little to play for on Sunday.
West Ham are as good as down after their shit show at the landfill so I'm hoping for the Spuds to win, Liverpool against Brentford and the Mancs to win against Brighton.
Seventh heaven

They only have 2 chances to impress the new gaffer before he comes in windmilling and cleaning house.

I'm assuming they'll be at it both games.

Trouble (for them) is they are rank average, even when they are at it.
Does the new bloke take over tonight or is that from the start of next season

Chelsea win, means the Mags can't get conference league if we don't win.
So the mags matter more than us?

For SAFC, the correct answer is Spurs to win. If Spurs win then Chelsea can only qualify for Conference. To them it would be a hindrance given their high revenue and spending being restricted to 70% instead of 85% and also having to deal with up to 17 more games in the season to win it.

If Chelsea do draw or win then the have a sniff of 7th place and Europa League so they'll possibly go for it on Sunday. If they lose tonight then will Chelsea be going all out to possibly finish 8th and end up in the Conference?

The Chelsea interim has already said they want any European competition.

We are going to have to do our bit regardless, it's got nowt to do with the 'Mags mattering more than us'

Totally agree. Chelsea won't be up for our game if they lose tonight. Every 50-50 they'll bottle. Hoping for a Spurs win myself.

Lip service for the fans as what else would he say?

"Nah we're not going for it as it would restrict our spending by £70m and we'd have loads more games playing twice a week for just a few £million revenue?"

They're already in the shit financially and having a break from UEFA's strict FFP for a season (stricter thena Premier League) would be helpful to them to get things into order.

Chelsea have some top class players. They should be so much better than they are. Scandalous that a squad like that may not even qualify for European football.
If spurs win tonight Chelsea’s season is over and they have nothing to play for on Sunday so that’s the best result for us.

It’s a big IF though. Tottingham haven’t with at Stamford Bridge since 1990 😧
And Chelsea have a new gaffer to impress. Add to that that, whilst Chelsea have certainly under-performed this season, Spurs are crap.

Best case in my eyes is a Spurs win so Chelsea are left nothing to play for etc.

But we're gonna beat them anyway, so not too arsed.

Well in that case i'm even more happy for them to win tonight, as it means based on your logic, they're happy to chuck the last game.
