The type of twats that would do that couldn’t care less about your club mate.I think it depends on who can buy tickets. If it’s the average away fan I think it’ll be lesser numbers and not seen as too much of a big deal.
If they let anybody buy them they’ll get the young knob heads who’ll undoubtedly swell the numbers but unfortunately show themselves ( and club ) up.
We’re playing a team representing Newcastle United.
There’ll be lots of Mags in the stadium.
A night game with an atmosphere.
Only a few games from a Wembley final, and a weekend out down London.
I don’t understand how any proper Sunderland fan couldn’t be up for this.

Again with both sets of supporters being warned because they can't behave themselves.
I understand to an extent, with it being against an U21 side, but no need to slag the owners off for putting prices upto £15 like some are. Club could have charged £10 for every game so far, we paid £10 at Morecambe, they have done fans a favour doing home games at £3.
Regardless of who its against, its the last 16 of a cup, and due to increased police requirements they club are putting prices up, while keeping it at a respectable level IMO. Works out at £6 on average for the 4 home games in this competition. Great value and 4 easy loyalty points. If they were ripping fans off then they would have charged £15 for every game, but they have been decent and covered costs and made a small amount i'd expect, which is what a business does.

I'm not at all, mate. I find it more embarrassing than anything that we have to field our first team against their bairns.
Aye, he certainly likes cracking fellow mags that attempt to smash up the blue bell.Cracking lad

Why though mate? It’s a first team competition, and since we’re in it, t’would be foolish to not try our best to win it.
Who gives a fuck what others (Mags) think.
I’d love another opportunity to walk up Wembley Way with our Harry.
And I’m sure you’re likewise with your little lass?
Embrace it man pal.
The other thread is full of people falling over themselves giving reasons not to go. It’s a no-brainer for me.We’re playing a team representing Newcastle United.

I see what you're saying mate but it just feels like a glorified Reserves competition to me.
For the record, 21 year olds aren't bairns. Barry Venison had 100 1st Division games and a Wembley final under his belt by that age. I'd back a team of 21 year olds against any team of 30 year olds. 17 year-old's are bairns. This is worth winning. I'll be paying for the live stream.I'm not at all, mate. And putting things in the media in the lead up is one of the many ways of doing that isn't it?Part of the job of the police is to prevent incidents. Not blame anyone before anything has happened.
