I think it depends on who can buy tickets. If it’s the average away fan I think it’ll be lesser numbers and not seen as too much of a big deal.
If they let anybody buy them they’ll get the young knob heads who’ll undoubtedly swell the numbers but unfortunately show themselves ( and club ) up.
I wonder if the poundshop Tim Healy will be in attendance ?

That's what happened at the Stoke v port Vale game.
Quite a few Stoke fans left early due to a large minority embarrassing their club, smashing up toilets and ripping out chairs. I mean, what's the f***ing point in that!

It’s a problem that’s unfortunately becoming the norm.
Thankfully first team games ( in general ) are problem free but reserve games / friendlies are problematic, simply because anybody can go.
If we take a big allocation it has to allocated properly. If it means only selling 1000 of 4000 then so be it.

Very badly priced. I think there will a lot lower crowd going to this one then seems to be the norm on here - it's midweek, it's against an U21 side, it follows a busy Xmas period. It really isn't a game of any significance for us and I fully expect us to rest all key players in what is going to be a long and tiring second half of the season. We must all realise that being in the Championship come August is the priority, not tin pot cups and playing junior teams like this fixture!

Its 10% of the ground that is open. East Stand, SE Corner and South Stand add up to 17,300 so we only have to give them about 2,000. Still enough for a couple of hundred ripped out seats and half a dozen punched horses.
They will be upstairs in the north stand, sure they are restricted to 3000 max due to their previous behaviour whilst visiting the ground.
This draw was always a lose lose for the club. On the pitch win or lose its only their U21's off the pitch there is the added cost of policing and stewarding the match. I detest games against the mags as there is nowt but chew on before and after the game.
Me personally i wanted Oldham away in the draw simply because i have never been.

Ok, just I've seen a couple of mags do just that getting off at seaburn.
After the metro I am normally that desperate for a slash that I go to the Blue Bell. Another quick pint in there then home. Everywhere around here is sound. I would not be too mouthy in the Flying Boat like, but generally I get no bother at all.

We're restricting our sales to buyers with a previous purchase history, with a maximum of 4 (rather than the normal 20) per account. It would make a lot of sense if you did the same.

I know of at least three mags that drink in the boat so I wouldn't worry too much, you aren't alone!

In the last round Newcastle limped to a 1-1 draw with Macclesfield, who are currently 92nd in the football league. Of the Newcastle starting 11, they had played a combined total of 0 minutes first team action. Yes, not a single minute between them. The rules of the competition mean that they can't really change the team selection by much. I don't think that fact will be lost on many Newcastle fans. I just don't think that there will be much appetite to attend. All this talk of allocations etc will probably come to nowt.

They have every chance of beating us if we dont treat it seriously like. Remember their kids will give absolutely 100%.. if some of ours cant be arsed or our fans are shit.. hmm

Not happy we are letting away fans in mind.

Like me ! Not taking my nephew when them horrible fuckers are singing about child abuse all game and ripping seats out.
Are your posts on this a wind up? If not, they are amongst the shrillest and most neurotic ever seen on this board (and there is some pretty stiff competition).

It is a home game for a local derby that has seen very little trouble compared to most other local derbies in England. Imagine being shit scared of going to that :-/

Embarrassing
