It was more the 'end of thread' comment. I enjoyed the place but wouldn't rush back - gdansk and sopot are better in poland mind, if you get a chance try them

My best mate here's polish so I've been dragged about for weekends on the piss, torun and lodz are decent aswell

Haven’t been to Toruń in years, it’s the closest big city to where me ma is from, about 20 minutes or so. The old town is beautiful like.

50 pints of Pilsner Urquell
1 x espresso
2 x racks of ribs and chips
1 x burger and chips
2 x portion of chips
1 x chicken and chips

£121 total. Pivnice U Glaubicu restaurant. Class food as well as we also went the night before.

Kiev would be too dangerous imho unless you know what you're doing (which doesn't sound like being the case here) . it's also a longer flight with limited carriers . If they want eastern Europe stick to the main trail I'd say - Poland, Prague, Budapest, may be the Baltics. If flying from the North East not that many options anyway.

Depends what you mean by cheap I suppose. I was best man for my mate last year.

3 nights in Albufeira, 4 star hotel and all inclusive. The all inclusive bit was magic, we just got pissed up on free spirits until we went out and therefore spending money was kept to a minimum.

Aye, food wasn't cheap but when you got all that for £120, can't complain. Just by where we were staying also.
