It’s dire watching Durham batting presently
27 overs gone and 7 down
40 overs roughly is how long they are lasting
It’s atrocious that they can’t even bat out a reasonable amount of overs and time
You can drop any or all of Steel ,Clark Smith Colly or RIchardson and even Lees but who of any quality is there to replace them
The bottom line is that our entire batting line up is bang average mediocre or poor

Yup. The Yorkshire CCC Civil Wars of the 1980s will have nothing on tomorrow night.
Some of the old gadgees around the ground were wondering what collar size Lewis is.
He's probably the most infuriating of our hapless batsmen as every game I've seen this season he plays some cracking shots and then gets out in a totally shit fashion.
I reckon there was no more than 500 in attendance there today and walking around the ground there were a lot of folk saying that if this keeps up then they're ready to call it a day.
Whether this was merely the end of season blues on an overcast day I can't say but it was coming from members who have been going for years.
