Love Colly me. Been some shameful stuff said /implied about him over the years on here. One of the most positive, significant individual in the clubs history. If he has retired cap doffed and fuck the haters.

Paul Collingwood owes us NOTHING. The man is a Durham legend. He epitomises why DCCC became a First Class County.

A lad from a working class background, who was state schooled, but had the desire and work ethic to make it right to the top. Still the only England captain to win the World Cup.

I'll say a bit more once its official though i said a lot when I attended his testimonial last year which I still believe now was poorly attended by Durham members/fans/local community.

Superb player. Sadly went on a season too long it seems, but I doubt many would have said he should have retired after his season last year.

Good bowler, outstanding fielder, and pulled England out of many holes as a batsman, in all formats. Quality captain as well.

As a player, he has been superb for both club and country.

Simply the greatest cricketer ever from the area. I've said it before but I hope he becomes our coach for next season as we'll regret it if he goes elsewhere. He will inspire local lads and ultimately, we all want a DCCC side to be full of them.
