You're probably right, the Sussex 2nd innings back in April had completely vanished from my memory!

Our strength is piling up 450 for fun, not bowling teams out. Suprised we are putting teams in instead of building pressure by hitting big totals. I accept though that at 100 plus for none I have the advantage of hindsight, Scotty doesnt at the toss but I still feel we are handing the initiative away a bit. Wickets needed on restart.

Why not get the runs on the board and let the other team chase the game when you've got the ability to do it.

Always disagreed with you on the England one and still do. At least the way you put it across almost as if it was lunacy to put them in

Conditions wise day 2 and 3 were the best and if England do bat first and bat well when do they declare in order to give themselves time to get 20 wickets in a 3 day test?. Bowling first always felt right to me but I don’t think it was an outrageous decision either way.
 
Looks hitty missy with the showers tomorrow with it worse in the afternoon and worse again on Thursday and Friday. Already looking like not enough time in the game for either side to force a result, especially us given they are 113 for 0. its all about the first innings bonus points here.

Part reason we sacked it off and got a full hotel refund. Think we are going down on Friday for a day out regardless of cricket or not
 
We drove down from Hartlepool. Fucked it off about 3:45 in the end. Spent more time driving than we did watching cricket all in! Today and Friday looked the best days when we checked yesterday!
