CC :: Sussex v Durham

After winning at Scarborough in 2013, we’ve been routinely put to the sword by sides coached by Gillespie.

Second season syndrome from Steel? He’s been somewhat disappointing this term.

Only consolation is that we won’t have long to wait to put it right against a Warwickshire side who also look like being hammered in this round of fixtures.

Need a selector with a spine here and pick players on merit. We changed a winning side of 2 games in the One Day Cup and fell to pieces. We've changed a winning side here and have turned into an embarrassment.

Look, I asked you to elaborate on that comment at the start of the game and you avoided the subject.

I'm happy to ask again though, the only changes were Jones and Davies out, Collingwood and Poynter in. So honestly, would you have kept both players who played against Derbyshire in?

His changes from the one day side was steel who contributed 18,0

I was going to head back down there tomorrow, if there was any play. Looks like I'll be saving myself the bother. A very poor show :neutral:

I'd have kept a winning side as I would have in the one day cup. I said that pre game on the Durham facebook page as well before I'm accused of "easy to say now during a hammering"

I'm accusing you of nothing except avoiding my question the first time.

As you've now stated you'd have stuck with the side that beat Derby, it's worth noting for balance that Jones and Davies contributed 15 runs for their four dismissals.

So far here, Collingwood and Poynter are 90 for 3.

Paul Collingwood is the most decorated Cricketer we've ever had and IMO our best ever player - you'd have stuck with a Scotsman with only one previous First Class game though?

Fair enough, just so everyone knows.
