at all levels

the way i look at things pre match, is work out the average totals of the top five, from their career averages

it usually comes out at around 200. then if the last five hang around and help a top five batsman to outdo his average with a 100 plus, you get your 350 to 400 plus first innings scores.

thats in tests and it usually balances out for most tests
