How can it be we don't know much about the new lad and we still have raineDon't want to insult any player but is this the worst seam attack Durham have had?
I know needs must and Stan is a good prospect .. but .........
Will Toole have more experience with the kookaburra ball? Assuming as they use them in australia they'll use them in new zealandBout time Trev got a go
Not sure why we can’t give Robinson ago instead of Toole

We are excellent at losing a wicket just before a breakThat dismissal. I’ve lost count the amount of times we’ve chipped a half volley to mid wicket like with the batsman falling over. A dismissal you literally never see at international cricket
Fair point that
Think he played for Whitburn alongside his brother NormanRaymond Soppitt played one game in 1972 for Durham and had match figures of 6-97...er..that's about it as far as Raymonds are concerned.![]()
Was a couple of drinks breaks which took a while as it's currently 28 degrees but as long as they get the full overs done I'm fine with it (weather permitting)29 overs in the first session, 9 of them were spin. Awful that.
Lunch:
Durham 150-1 (29 overs)
Lees 66*
Borthwick 3*
In truth if he wasn’t captain he doesn’t deserve his placeDire stuff that from Borthwick mind. He didn't look comfortable at all. Really poor wicket to give away. 164-2. 33.1 overs. Over rate is -1. Run rate is 4.9
