CC : Lancashire v Durham

This should be at Old Trafford, I reckon there could have been thousands on the gate over the weekend.

And not just because I can a tram there in half an hour door to door, instead of schlepping up to the coast.

Or maybe, oh i dunno, durham?

When was the last time he played at riverside? Because he played at new road last time. And iirc he didn't play the last time england were here either did he?

I doubt Lancs would agree to that, like.

Isn't he due to play a few games, so he'll play at home to Zummerzet next week?

I can’t remember when it was (might’ve been after the WC) but I do remember Durham pushing the fact England were playing an ODI at Durham using Stokes as the poster boy to sell tickets. He then got rested for a couple of ODIs, maybe even just one, with the Durham game being one. C**ts trick from ECB on that occasion.

The County Championship match v Glamorgan (May 12- 15th 2022). He scored 82 & 26 and only bowled in the first innings 12-0-69-0.

This was also the game when Sean Dickson's run of fine form ended.

“I’m excited to face Brydon Carse, who was a young pup when I was there. Matthew Potts, as well, Ben Raine - they’re all really good mates of mine.

“I’m looking forward to playing against them.”
Carse might well not be playing. Very unlikely all 3 will.

I didn't mean Lancashire play a home game at ours

Just seems he gets released away games and rested for home games rather than the other way round.

Good to hear he'll play eventually. Surprised it's 'only' been two years.
