CC : Durham v Somerset

What is going on there? Thinking of coming down this afternoon but won't bother if there's parking chaos.
Those metal gates that stop access to the extra parking were closed when I came down at lunchtime yesterday. They may have been opened later if a traffic warden flagged up that the car parks were very busy.

Don’t know about today as I’ve parked in the one next to the river.

If it helps, instead of doing my usual lap of the ground at lunchtime I’ll nip out and check unless someone can update in the meantime 😀

They were very good last year, but as I mentioned, this year they’ve been a real disappointment.
Maybe the idea that there's little difference between the two divisions was ill informed. Player movement seems to be increasing and year on year the best players at unfashionable counties end up moving where the money is.

Abject performance this morning, completely surrendered any initiative we had after bowling them out before Tea.

I predict Somerset will go big second time around.

Released early. Its no good saying why did we give him that length of contract now over 3 years later.
Legitimate discussion point.

IMO it was a sentimental decision, re-signing a popular local player to show we'd turned a corner. But no other club was offering what we did and it made him complacent about his game.

I think people are quicker to criticise him than they are a number of others.
He's averaging 20 and doesn't back himself to bowl.

They're all been minging this season apart from Bedingham and Robinson if it helps.
