CC : Durham v Nottinghamshire

Brilliant this. On what looks a good pitch we've had to get smart with fields and look to set traps and they've fell for them. Good bowling and good captaincy (not said that much this year )

They're out of ideas. Literally they've given up. Body language is appalling and there is absolutely no craic/encouraging in the field.

I think it’s fair to say that the attitude displayed by them today has carried into their batting. Doesn’t appear to be a great deal of fight in them looking at the miserly way they’ve surrendered their wickets so far.

This is still a very good pitch.

A few have been suckered into Wagner's leg side trap.

They were displaying that same attitude as well yesterday but today they have been appalling. Yes Durham are doing well but body language/encouragement on the field awful. I'm enjoying paying attention to Wagner, he's encouraging Hogg massively and has fitted into this side ever so well. I really hope we can look at bringing him back here next season, he is clearly a good role model for the younger bowlers and obviously a very good bowler.

It’s been a masterclass in aggressive bowling and field placings from Wagner and Borthwick it must be said.

Badger has had lots of critics this past 18 months or so, but his positivity and desire to go and win games is second to maybe only Ben Stokes.

A coach who allows the captain to "do his thing" and "trusts the captain" also helps.
