CC :: Durham v Glamorgan

Obviously the coach and captain got their doubts about Trevaskis as a championship cricketer. Disappointing for me.
I'm not convinced about that- green pitch and overcast conditions early season at the Riverside shouldn't require a finger spinner. Durham brought in Jeetan Patel during the close season to work one on one with Trevaskis which suggests they have hopes for him.
Trevaskis, though, strikes me as a rather arrogant individual who doesn't endear himself to his team mates.

is the crap sound on the YouTube feed my wifi or is anyone experiencing this?

Works fine on a tablet, but shite on the telly - no idea why that’s different 🤷‍♂️

Apparently the PCB have requested that Shaheen Shah Afridi be rested for the next fortnight… Meaning we won’t have to face him at Lords next week.

Thanks for that. It's good to have it on the telly, cos then I can pretend to work on my laptop ;)

How does it work on the computer?

It’s still a bit sketchy on the iPad in fairness but nowhere near as bad as what it’s doing on the telly.

Dickson gone. An ugly innings truth be told. Edges a nothing delivery to second slip to depart for a 28 ball 5. 15-1.

Apparently playing 5 seamers due to Stokes and Carse both playing and on restricted workloads.
Not sure about Trevaskis attitude must admit never really noticed anything.

Laptop not quite as bad as telly. But I have too many emails to write, so have sound from laptop and picture on the telly.

50 partnership!

Durham 66-1 (22.2 overs).

Lees 38*
Peterson 23*

Glamorgan gadgey on comms trying his best to jinx us.

Absolute f*cking gift.

The bloke had 2-250 for the season before that. Fuck off man.

Re: The shite stream quality…

Marty was saying on commentary that it was the same for the home opener against Leicestershire, something to do with bandwidth - but what they did was they rebooted it at lunch and appeared to have no more issues.

I’ve no idea if they’ve tried anything different here, but I’ve come back from walking the derg and it’s still shite.
Decent morning for Durham other than Neser Glamorgan's attack look very friendly.
After an iffy start Petersen looking quite solid.

Probably honours even all things considered but we’ve gifted them both wickets. It looks very flat once again, there were a few deliveries that the batsmen played and missed at which made we wonder whether the grass on the pitch did have some of an effect, but it’s too early to judge where the game is going at this stage.

ANOTHER GIFT. F*ck sake man.
