CC :: Durham v Glamorgan

Starts Thursday.

Aye.
6th championship match in six weeks you sound as fatigued as the Durham pace attack.
Hopefully Carse is fit and available to freshen things up. He could even come in to replace Potts to give him a break.
I can't see any other changes unless Raine gets recalled or there are any injuries.

Aye, nail on the head to be honest, everthing that’s worth discussing has already been done to death really - the ball, the seam attack, etc.

No point repeating myself.

Not buying into this Stokes v Labuschagne shite either.

Well looking at the last round of matches the direct confrontation will more than likely be Marcus bowling to Ben rather than the other way around.

Aye it's classic damned if you do, damned if you don't

We want country cricket to get respect, interest and top class players. But you want to advertise that? Embarrassing :lol:

I understand that, I’m not against it, it was more just a statement of my own ambivalence towards discussing the topic on the match thread :lol:

I know those two lads need no introduction, but I’m far more interested - as a Durham supporter - to see how the other ten lads perform, perhaps more importantly, how the bowlers get on, given recent performances.

Does Potts need a break? 23 now so you'd hope he's through the growing pains stage of his career and I don't remember him having any particularly bad injuries in the past so a good action helping avoid injury? All that being said, the club should be monitoring his fitness and going down the ounce of prevention Vs a pound of cure route.

Aye he should probably get rested in my opinion

5 championship matches in 5 weeks is a lot of cricket when they have been going a full 4 days. Different if they are effectively over early on day 3. He is the only seamer who has played every game if you take into account Rushy taken out of the Sussex match.
Also he is one our key bowlers in T20.
