we cannot be strengthening teams around us, Cattermole still does a job occasionally and we have no need to sell with him under contract til 2016.

We might have a need to sell him to raise funds and free up wages

ideally it would be gardner or larsson instead, but thats easier said than done

Cattermole is comfortably the best player you'll have signed from us. You are a getting a decent player with a very questionable injury and disciplinary record. He will be much better than Whelan or Palacios for you.
