I suspect Pancreatic Cancer UK would respectfully disagree with that, but they may argue more could be done.
Sadly, prevention isn't always possible. Cancer doesn't discriminate, it can develop in anyone.
From memory, pancreatic is also one of the hardest to treat.

Very sad news. I hope he was comfortable and not in pain. Poor bloke.
 
RIP Carlton 😔 my deepest sympathies to his family, friends and all those at the club for the loss of their loved one /friend and colleague.
