Carlisle United

Accrington gave Bradford 2,600 tickets last weekend, they’ve given Carlisle just over 1,000 for Easter Monday, which is pathetic. 600 standing tickets for the open terrace which holds 1,800. Must be worried!

If they can pick up results in next two and Accrington don’t they then play each other
By the remaning fixtures quirk a very slight chance of survival exists.

How can they get away with that? Unless Police dictated it. Carlisle would take a good squad for that game & the disorder potential must be high.

God knows mate, Accrington seem to do things differently to other clubs when it comes to tickets, remember them charging Sunderland fans again after the initial game was abandoned? Win at Morecambe on Saturday and Carlisle would’ve sold the 2,600 for Accrington no problem. All a reduced allocation means is that away fans will be more inclined to buy home tickets, daft really.

The ticketing decision is a bit unfair to Carlisle's travelling fans for what [at this point] is a massive game to them, and as you say those that were intending to make the make the relatively short journey will still go so they'll end up all over the ground. Carlisle would have easily sold the 2,600 while there's still a very slight chance of getting out of the bottom two. Whether thet think they'll have more chance of a win without Carlisle being loudly backed?
A few very interesting L2 games coming up this weekend;

Acc v Tranmere
Morecambe v Carlisle [bottom four battle it out]

Swindon v Bradford C. [Another test to see how Swindon compare in being top of the table]

Big win today. Can they do it?
They need to win 2 and draw 1 of their last three games ( including beating Accrington away ) and hope that Accrington lose all 3 of their games . They are 6 points behind accrington and with a 10 goal worse gd.
I would say its unlikely as one of their fixtures is home to league leaders Port Vale....but perhaps thats the match they might be able to afford to draw.......you never know, they have had 2 wins on the spin so confidence will be there
Accrington may be mentally shot that they were 3 up and yet only drew today

It's the chips are down time of the season where odd results come up, Acc is a key game so it's where the battling mentality, good fortune & courage come into play. If Carlisle can keep it in their own hands it's better than they could have hoped for. One game at a time 🤞

Just glad we are not involved in all that “excitement.”
It’s going to the wire for sure.

Yep.. the next round of games ( Good Friday ) are crucial....Carlisle home to Vale, Accy away to Salford. Salford have to win to continue their last ditch bid for playoffs, while Vale are still not sure of Automatic promotion. A draw or better for Carlisle and a loss for Accy sets up a monumentus game at Accrington on Easter Monday

Another massive couple of games coming up for Carlisle. It's take a deep breath & get hold of the safety rail time. Bumpy ride ahead.

They have been hanging on to that safety rail for weeks but crucially they are still clinging on. One bad result will them slip into the abyss though.... its a shame this late rally couldnt have happened a few weeks ago ( like Tranmere have done )

They're now clinging on with their finger ends, so the weight of an Easter egg might make them fall
Disappointing to where the Club is right now however relief as we looked the worst side in the league at one point.
As mentioned previously it shows what a good manger/hc with club backing can achieve (which your owners will have seen)
