Very classy club is Morecambe, when Barrow returned to the football league they sent a plane over Holker Street on Barrow's first game back welcoming us back.

Pretty much expected, it doesn't make that much difference. It's a nigh-on impossible struggle for them to get out of the bottom two anyway with what they have available - as it has been for some time. Blind hope is pretty much all they have, and a sightless female could probably fit nicely into their playing squad.

That's been blatantly obvious for weeks, he was happy to take the wages though for a match walkabout & abusing fans at games.
Each set of games drives another self-inflicted nail into the coffin. Nine points and a worse gd to make up is not going to happen with that group of players, even if Tranmere get a points deduction for entering administration they're well gone bottom.

Went down to Chesterfield on Tuesday, absolute shitshow in an appalling season. Home team had 82% possession, 38 shots and 16 corners, it was one of the most one-sided game you’ll ever get.

Embleton’s an arsehole. Pathetic attitude and application from day one by a so-called professional. Blatantly doesn’t want to be at the club, didn’t want to come on on Saturday and made sure he wasn’t on long the other night, happy to pick up a ridiculous wage on a 3.5 year deal though. Bet he’s on more money than Sunderland’s captain!

At this level effort above everything else.
Feel for Carlisle, biggest budget in the league and players like Embleton have downed tools. Holloway has saved us from the drop.

I have been impressed with Holloway’s man management.
We have a player on loan from Sheffield Utd, a complete disaster. Mistakes costing us goals and then he got injured. Sheffield Utd didn’t want him back.
Evidently Holloway got all the players in a room and openly asked the question have any of you called or visited Freckleton?
Complete silence. He went at all of them and the lad has come back and looks a better player. Basically he has everyone on the same page. Makes mass substitutions and no sulking. You can just see they are all together.
When we scored the late penalty on Tuesday the keeper and all the subs ran to celebrate together.

Sadly I think Carlisle are gone. Can only hope you come back first time.
May need some big changes in the squad.

Having the largest budget is no good though if there is no decent proven manager in charge. Leeds, Sheff Utd and Burney have the largest budgets in the Championship but crucially have also got managers who have taken clubs up from it too.
Take Mowbray for example, steady enough at Championship but would any of those 3 clubs above trust him to take their sides up ?......im pretty sure they wouldnt

The lad posting on You Tube put his perspective on it, 38 shots tells a tale about what the players are doing - or not doing, then MH's post match interview comments put a slightly better outlook on the performance but you could tell from his face he wasn't happy with what had gone on. The Embleton charade appearance was disgraceful. He's got himself out of attending some games due to suspension. Deliberately?

Your top line shows your players are in it together for each other & the manager👍

Carlisle are definitely gone and by most reports I've seen/heard they won't be coming straight back up unless they get rid (improve) of most of their squad. I'm not convinced MH wants to stay either even if he's asked. It looks like a start-again rebuild situation so mid Conf. is arguably the best they will get next season

Apparently most of the most recent signings are also on similar length deals & decent salaries for the level, so Carlisle are stuck with them.
