Carlisle United

To be fair, his performances at Sunderland mirrored this. He was excellent at actually contributing to goals (scoring and assisting) but the rest of the time he floated about pretty anonymously
If he floated around pretty anonymously against Hull he wouldn't have spend 18 months injured

Last 8 home games - Won 6 Drawn 2. Some incredible form Holloway has delivered.

Scott Lindsay (ex MKD) to Gillingham I am hearing.
Swindon's form under Holloway has been nothing less than outstanding, now hard to beat & you always seem to get a goal when you need it from what he's coached into & instructed the players. He's set a yardstick for the division so I hope Hughes is working along the same route with Carlisle.

Iirc IH as used the squad you already had which shows the effect a manager/hc can have with a slightly different approach & directing them to do things in games differently. I hope your "popular" owner sees it that way & backs him for next season so he can continue & improve what you have.

The ex MKD coaching staff are the kiss of death (e.g. MW) so expect the Gills to come onto it now, probably playing possession based football & being caught out in their own half.
He's too good for non league, surely someone in the EFL will offer him a contract if they go down.
Nobody's "too good for non league" and if that's what they believe it's where they end up. He's slipped down the football ranks for a reason - as they all do.

Some early encouraging signs of potential challenges to these owners.
Won’t be a quick fix but has to start somewhere.🤞

Correct, there has to be a starting point that is acceptable to parties then it can progress quite quickly if the right deal is put forward. But, as you know, it depends on what the current & potential new one(s) want out of it. As I intimated some time back, Swindon Town FC are an interesting venture when they're doing well because there's money to be made with good business. Which takes it back to the Holloway matter. It needs to be a going-concern so the time is now to open discussion.

He probably needs to start proving it
He appears to be winning no friends at Carlisle. He showed enough here to seem at least good enough for League One. He could well be in The National League next season and can have no complaints if he is.

Carlisle's relatively new owners have made an absolute mess while spending a lot of money. Williamson was a bizarre appointment and Mark Hughes probably not the right man to replace him.

His options are running out rapidly; opinions on the Carlisle fans board are slaughtering him (again). He's been called a wage thief among other non-complimenary things.

His attitude has been very questionable in a few games apparently. Even the radio comm mentioned his lack of chasing back & helping out during the game today.

The claim is that MW blew the budget on players to play a specific way and when it has shown they weren't good enough to do it it's been handed over to MH with the hope of changing their style & mentality. It's a chaotic mess that could well end up in going out of the league again because unless they can find some goals & a few clean sheets they're gone.

And were very poor ref: BBC Cumbria radio. They need to start winning because the gap's back to six points with Tranny winning. Three home games next so they need to find some goals.
Won 2 in the last 31 games at home, so the prospect of 3 home games in a row isn’t as appealing as it sounds!

I didn't say it was appealing, but arguably they may have a slightly better chance of a win or two with a passionate home crowd. Sparky may also have the level of intensity raised higher than under MW with his pass pass pass pass squarely across the back line - well hopefully anyway. The chips are now well and truly down so it's get at them games, which may not involve passenger Embleton from what the radio post-match said.

We could swap owners.
They would love ours.ight
I've been having a look at Morfuni online, what are fans (such as yourself)'s main criticisms? Is it mainly the transferring of shares or releasing funds that might allow progress? I read that he claimed he'd payed in £8m of his own money so how true are his comments
