I'm assuming it's their new ownersWho the fuck are they like?
After a bit of stalking it seems like they're family of the owners

Does James Phillips still do their bbc commentary? They've not been the same since Derek Lacey radio commentated their games. Although they were sh*te then sometimes too.
She's a proper wad her like
I'm sure I read somewhere the fella who took over was a LA lawyer and had never been to Carlisle before...
Have the owners actually been to Carlisle?
Not sure, it's been a while since I was over there to listen but I think so.Does James Phillips still do their bbc commentary?
Harsh. Magnificent at Gateshead adapting a great playing style and achieving way above their level financially. Turned MK Dons around initially before a bad end of season and pkay off defeat. This season was the first time in his management career things have gone poorly for him. They hired - and paid for - a manager (ex-mag Williamson) who was literally days away from being sacked by a L2 rival. MK Dons couldn't believe their luck. If you watch his post-match interview from yesterday he is completely broken. Almost crying. He avoided the sack at one club but will be gone very soon at his new one too. Awful manager.
Cumbrian Crack (Carlisle fans site) reckon Williamson is not too far from the sack already despite only being in post for a short time. One quote I heard from a fan said he's trying to play league football with amateurs like he did with The Heed. They hired - and paid for - a manager (ex-mag Williamson) who was literally days away from being sacked by a L2 rival. Honestly, he was days away from getting the boot at MK. They could not believe their luck when Carlisle came in with compensation for him.Harsh. He was. They have high expectations there. He took over they were mid table, got to the play offs and started this season really poorly. It’s hardly the record of a terrible manager.Honestly, he was days away from getting the boot at MK. They could not believe their luck when Carlisle came in with compensation for him.
He's on the brink of being fired for the second time in two months at two clubs. It's not exactly good, is it!He was. They have high expectations there. He took over they were mid table, got to the play offs and started this season really poorly. It’s hardly the record of a terrible manager.
I’m not sure what your issue with him is? Are you a Carlisle fan? 3 or 4 years of his career was building one club up after it nearly went bust, giving it an identity, seeing it punch miles above its weight. He leaves a year ago spends 6 months getting a team from mid table to the play offs and he’s had a terrible 3 or 4 months of football. Yes he may have got sacked from MK he won’t be the first, won’t be the last and perhaps made a mistake moving immediately to a club already on the slide but his record overall he can be more than proud of. Fantastic bloke as well. He's on the brink of being fired for the second time in two months at two clubs. It's not exactly good, is it!
He is one of those managers obsessed to the point of stupidity / arrogance with possession-based football over all else. MK got to play-offs but recieved some absolute thumpings along the way - including losing a record-breaking 8-1 in the play-offs themselves. He's like a League Two Russell Martin, but without any of the charm or personality that helped Martin climb up to PL. Trying to play some bastard form of Pep-ball with League 2 players, and then not having the humility or intelligence to see its not working.
On the plus side - if you ever need help sleeping, just listen to his interviews. The guy is so bland.
I'd like him (or someone else) to alter Carlisle's current playing fortunes. Whether he's struggling with what he inherited from Simmo's time or the ownership direction of the club but following the recent managerial turmoil it will take time and I'm unsure if he'll be allowed it. Then (re: Carlisle) who do they get in next. Either the players or their preparation & instruction hasn't looked good for a time now.I’m not sure what your issue with him is? Career-wise possibly, but if he wants/needs game time it's decent as a stepping stone if he uses it that way.what a shite move for the lad.
They'll be going down.Career-wise possibly, but if he wants/needs game time it's decent as a stepping stone if he uses it that way.
The way things are going my thoughts also under Williamson. They'll be going down.
They need to be able to score a goal (or two) & defend it - which they usually can't.Stays injury free and could be a massive singing for Carlisle and easily help them move away from the bottom.
