It seems other prospective managers aren't willing to take that chance for whatever reason(s)So Embleton could be a national league player in 6 months time as Carlilse look doomed. Hes much better then that
But then (after the second one if it happens) will they hang around or try to sell up.The new American owners there looking likely to have two relegations on their hands

I wish I had your confidence about Carlisle, it will be very tight at the bottom and a few clubs will be looking over their shoulder. Forget Nappyoil away it's about getting enough points now to stay just above the bottom2, book the bus for final game but just keep picking up points v the clubs where you can get them.Good signing Mate.
Still think they will pull clear however it’s going to get tight and expect a few more to join our relegation party.
Ffs was going through programmes today and Swindon smashing Napoli 4-0 away.
Now we are organising open top bus parades for getting a point at Bromley the football powerhouse.
Some of our fans do my head in.![]()
A point from safety with money to spend . Far from doomedSecond bottom?
An evening game that I (and what seemed like thousands of other Sunderland fans) missed the kick off and the first two goals.
Found a lovely country pub on the wayback but couldn’t find it again.
Wasn't segregation in those days. Never really came in until 1980 for most clubs. Some exceptions were West Ham who started it in early 70s.. but no actual away ends in 76.Brunton Park the first away game i was taken to in 1976, was in the home end and couldn't believe the amount of our fans in the away section. Drew the game 2-2 after they scored a late equalizer.
I recall n'cle ['77] & man u ['75] were allocated half the RE for league games and I think we were allocated half of the gallowgate & the Clive Rd section at Boro around that time iircWasn't segregation in those days.
