Car mechanics SR3 area + advice needed

No expert but spring shouldn't snap after only 28,000 miles so I'd just replace one. Fair enough if it was a lot higher mileage for wear and tear reasons.
Aftermarket springs cost peanuts these days so can go quite quick . If its original that's 8 years . They may park half on the pavement every night and do it at speed.

Had my offside front spring snap will waiting at the lights at the silver link roundabout years ago , it was like a gunshot going off it was that loud.

Got out and had a look and it left the tyre about 20mm from the wing , turned round and drove it straight to the garage in Bede Ind estate for them to get fixed , surprised the tunnel staff didn’t stop me it looked that odd.

Got both sides done but no geometry check or adjustment.

Lads for your safetys sake. Equivalent of only asking the cobbler to only sole and heel one shoe.
Lesjöfors Automotive - Replace in Pairs

Yamar - need to bug son to keep on top of his motor.
Service lights on. 7 yr old i20.

What level of service would you recomend per year mate?
A starting point of Oil and filter every 10k or yearly, regards of higher intervals, and other items like pugs, air as and when according to interval.

I buy decent branded springs for my own motors, genuine or Sachs etc, worth the premium. Fitting shite like NAPA etc is false economy.
