Can anyone actually see us beating Charlton?

A lot of you lads are still very inexperienced at all this.

The "Sunderland Way" is to beat Charlton convincingly in the semi's. Find ourselves up against Doncaster in the Final and then lose. ;)

I really can’t

Ffs man have a word, some of the posts are ridiculous. We have to believe that we can beat whoever we're up against otherwise what's the point if even turning up, nows the time we all have to dig in and get behind the team not piss our pants and cry.
Sunderland til we die not Sunderland til we lose

Yes I can. We're unbeaten against them. The 2nd half performance was poor last night but it hasn't improved Charlton. They're hardly akin to the Brazil 1970 side

You are a banana skin. Us, Portsmouth and you have better players than the teams below us by some margin. That has to be respected. Finishing third looks the best bet. Unless Posh scrape in, as they are in great form at the moment!
Agree about finishing 3rd (if it’s Doncaster).

Not sure how they did against your lot but Doncaster were pretty poor.

Peterborough were okay but nothing special.

Really worried about your lot and Portsmouth.

I saw us beat Charlton last August.
Gooch was good back then. :(

Yes, the home leg is very unlikely to sell out but best to buy a ticket in advance.
Getting a ticket for the away leg will be more difficult and will probably require a number of loyalty points which from the question, you probably don't have.
Hope this helps.

I've been really confident for pur previous three play-off attempts and we failed. I'm less so now so hopefully it goes the other way.
We've got to forget about the league and treat it as a mini tournament that we have a good chance of winning .
We can but I don’t think we will. Tactics, motivation and team selection will kill us.
