Portsmouth do this all the time, I'll bet he ends up there. It's the same as what the mags used to do, release a link to us when we were never interested and then once they get them claim to have beaten us to their signature.

I hope I'm wrong though as he looks like he has a lot of potential.

Whenever its us and another "BIG" League 1 club mentioned I usually ignore and keep scrolling. 99% of the time its agent talk to get others involved. Even if its legit, it might have been a single phone call enquiring rather than firm interest.

I only start believing it when multiple sources are reporting and its clear they're not just coping each other.
